KNN Approved Outcross List & Foal Registration

Out crossing graded Knabstrupper mares or stallions with the breeds listed below is permitted by the KNN - see below for details or visit the KNN site.  Progeny can be registered with the KNN by notifying the administrator of the stallion list before November 1st in the year of covering.  A Covering Note must be obtained via the stallion owner.

v  Dansk Varmblod (Danish Warmblood)

v  Grænseegnens Holstener Hesteavlsforening (Holsteiner)

v  Thoroughbred XX (approved with Danish Warmblood, Trakehner or Arab Societies)

Where mare owners require to register offspring with the KNN each case should be checked at time of breeding.  See KNN rules & Standards.
 

Mare owners please ensure that you get a covering note at time of breeding as this is an EU requirement for the offspring to be registered by the breed association.
