The UKA was established for 2 years in March 2008. We are the only Defra/EU approved UK Society for Knabstruppers and we offer a warm WELCOME to all Knabstrupper owners, breeders and enthusiasts to join and take part in the first UK Association for this rare and wonderful breed.

CONGRATULATIONS to CLAIRE KNOWLES & Stavsdals JACKPOT on an outstanding win at the  BD medium qualifier at HAROLDS PARK on 27/01/2008 See Horse & Hound Report and to Claire and Rughavens SHEIK on qualifying for the BD Winter National Championships.

CONGRATULATIONS to Elaine Campin and her Knabstrupper stallion "HOLMEGARDS BASTIAN" who won Best Stallion in Show at the UK KNN Grading at Kingswood, Birmingham (UK) on Friday, 5th October, 2007  He is by RAVALDI out of Kronborgdiges BONITA   PEDIGREE

The first UK ZfdP Grading took place on Saturday 8th September, 2007 at Noak Hill in Essex - see update.   The quality of horses was excellent with 2 foals and 2 mares achieving premium status.

                                                                                                                                         UK Knabstruppers have been out flying the flag in affiliated British Dressage and at the FEI Para Championships in July.  Claire Knowles has been furthering her successful dressage career with 3 of the horses from their Jackpots Stud and their stallion Jackpot has been demonstrating the Knabstrupper excellent temperament and capabilities - see update

Hello and welcome to the web site of the United Kingdom Knabstrupper Association.

The Board of the UKA felt that the time had come to make a few changes and we hope that it makes your surfing experience more enjoyable and that you will return at regular intervals to catch up on all our Knabstrupper news.

Please let us know what you think of our changes, we would love to hear from you if you have an interest in this rare and lovely breed whether you are a member of the UKA or not.

We are working hard to organise some special Knabstrupper events in 2008 so do check back regularly to our “Events” page to catch all the latest news and information.

Hopefully we will get the chance to meet more of our members and other Knabstrupper supporters at these events throughout the year so please show your support for us and the Knabstrupper horse by making sure that they are well attended. We look forward to meeting as many of you as possible.
